I am the Chair of Scientists for Labour, a UK-wide group of scientists trying to raise the profile of science within the political establishment.

The document Adobe Acrobat PDF file (820kb) has been drawn up by our executive committee (which includes a number of eminent scientists in this field) and will be sent to a range of parliamentarians (not necessarily of Labour persuasion!) and other policy formers. I trust you will find our contribution of interest.
