I am a scientist at the French 'Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique' and (to estabish my credibility) one of my scientific reviews was cited in the report. I greatly appreciated the quality and quantity of the work that has gone into making this report.

In my opinion, there is one important section that is missing and could profitably ba included. This is a section on 'labelling and traceability'. I have read the report and agree that 'labelling and traceability' are mentioned several times, and in various places, in the report. However, I respectfully
suggest that, given its major importance, the Panel could consider giving this subject a separtate chapter.
